Recognizing Extraordinary Educators: The Early Childhood Educator Award

The Early Childhood Educator Award was created by 4C for Children to recognize the amazing educators that impact children on a daily basis. The award will be presented Saturday, Oct. 26 at the 4C for Children Leadership and Early Childhood Conference.

This award celebrates the impact that educators have on our youngest children and their families. This includes those who work directly with children in the following settings: family child care programs, preschool programs (public or private), child care centers, school-age programs, or Head Start. This honor is designed to recognize educators based on the following criteria:

• Relationship building with children, families and peers
• Supporting the vision of the early childhood education profession
• Innovation and creativity in the classroom
• Professional growth and development
