April 2018
This Month's Hot Topic
Child Abuse Prevention
April has been recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month since 1983. The statistics on child abuse and neglect in the United States are staggering: five children die from child abuse or neglect each day and 75 percent of those deaths are children under the age of three. But by reaching out to family, friends, neighbors and to those in the greater community, we can take steps to protect our children.
